Minnesota Hospital Association

Associate Members

The Minnesota Hospital Association offers associate membership to companies that do business with Minnesota’s hospitals, allowing them to keep abreast of the changing issues facing hospitals and to network with health care leaders. By partnering with MHA and its members, associate members help promote high quality health care in Minnesota. Benefits of associate membership include:

Personal contact with hospital CEOs and other executives

MHA associate members have frequent contact with hospital executives through a range of events, from the Minnesota Hospital PAC golf tournament to education seminars to our Annual Meeting. Associate members have many opportunities for face-time with hospital clients— and potential clients.

Educational sessions where you can learn the latest

Educational sessions offer a lot more than just networking. Associate members can use these forums to go in-depth on the latest trends in health care. Sessions may focus on the impact of new state regulations, operational training needs or board member education.

Resources to help you stay informed

Associate members receive timely information about Minnesota hospitals through MHA's Newsline — a weekly enewsletter on hospital issues, trends and people. Associate members receive a copy of the annual membership directory, which lists up-to-date contact information for hospital leaders. Associate members also receive access to the MHA Member Center - a member-exclusive section of the MHA website that includes an online membership directory and online events registration.

Visibility with members

MHA includes a listing of associate members and the nature of their businesses in the annual print membership directory, which is an invaluable resource that sits on the desk of health care executives throughout the state. An easily accessible link to your website is included on the MHA website.

Opportunities to sponsor programs or advertise in publications

You also benefit from great marketing opportunities as an associate member. By sponsoring a conference reception or placing a display ad in the membership directory, for example, associate members regularly elevate their profile. And the association is open to your creative ideas for additional partnership opportunities.

Minnesota’s hospitals are engines of job growth — nearly one-fifth of all job vacancies in the state are in health care. MHA represents 142 hospitals and health systems, which directly employ more than 127,000 people. Another 105,000 jobs are tied to health care. Hospitals spent $8.6 million in salaries and benefits. Then there is the care we provide, with more than 12.7 million outpatient visits and 521,302 inpatient visits in 2015 and more than 1.9 million emergency room visits — it's as if the population of Minnesota, and then some, came through our doors and received critical health care services once every year.

Only the Minnesota Hospital Association provides you with a chance to gain regular and meaningful exposure with the CEOs and other decision-makers who guide the health care industry in our state. Consider joining MHA has an associate member. Download the membership application.
