Minnesota Hospital Association

Health care’s complex challenges require leaders who can study issues from a variety of perspectives. The Minnesota Hospital Association is committed to providing Minnesota’s hospital leaders with the information they need in a timely and cost effective manner. MHA holds five conferences each year for hospital executives and trustees that focus on current, relevant topics to help hospital leaders now and in the future.

MHA Annual Meeting

Each September, hospital leaders gather to hear from exceptional, forward-thinking speakers on ways to move health care forward and to network and share best practices with colleagues from around the state.

The 2017 Annual Meeting will be held Sept. 20-22 at Madden’s on Gull Lake in Brainerd. Registration information is to come.

Biannual Trustee Conferences

Twice a year, in January and July, MHA hosts a conference to help trustees stay on the cutting edge of our constantly evolving health care environment. The January and July Trustee Conferences allow trustees, hospital executives and physician leaders to hone their governance skills and to network and exchange ideas. The Summer Trustee Conference will be held July 14-16 at the Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Alexandria, MN. Registration information is to come.

MHA-Healthcare Financial Management Association Conference

Every fall, MHA partners with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) to provide hospital chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, directors of nursing, risk officers and business management staff with the tools they need to ensure the financial well-being of their organizations. Specific tracks for critical access hospitals and PPS hospitals ensure participants receive the most valuable information for their facility.

Healthcare Leadership Institute

Each year in March, Minnesota Hospital Association partners with the University of Minnesota – Health Services Administration Division to bring together approximately 130 health care executives from Minnesota to share common concerns, develop partnerships and network. The 2017 Healthcare Leadership Institute will be held March 8-10. For more information, view the event brochure. Click here for hotel reservation information.
