The Minnesota Hospital Association (MHA), in collaboration with Minnesota OSHA, launched the SAFE LIFT campaign to promote safe patient handling. Hospitals can use the road map and toolkit to conduct a gap analysis of their current safe patient handling program and to develop an action plan to address any identified issues. The road map outlines the components to a comprehensive SAFE LIFT program and provides specific actions and audit questions for each of the components.
