Minnesota ranked second in the nation in overall health-care quality performance as measured by the 2006 National Healthcare Quality Report (see PDF). That annual study is conducted by the Rockville, Maryland-based Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, which is under the umbrella of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
MHA sent the citation mentions to every Minnesota lawmaker to coincide with the start of the '08 legislative session.
For more information contact Amy Harris, MHA director of communications, at (651) 603-3549.
