MHA kicked off its "SAFE COUNT" campaign on April 30, 2008 at a one-day educational session for hospital staff.

Participants learned how to successfully establish a SAFE foundation for education and accountability, and the related COUNT bundle for preventing retained objects in vaginal deliveries.
