Healthcare Financial Management Association

In April 2014, the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) led a multi-stakeholder task force in the development of guiding principles and recommendations for how hospitals, physicians and health plans can share reliable information on health care prices with consumers. Combined with quality and safety information, price information will help consumers make more informed health care decisions. View the report.

For consumers, HFMA has developed Understanding Healthcare Prices: A Consumer Guide, to help consumers get answers to their questions about health care prices.
