Conferences

MHA holds five conferences each year for hospital executives and trustees that focus on current, relevant topics to help hospital leaders now and in the future.

MHA Annual Meeting

Each September, hospital leaders gather to hear from exceptional, forward-thinking speakers on ways to move health care forward and to network and share best practices with colleagues from around the state.

The 2020 Annual Meeting will be held Sept. 16-18, 2020, at Madden's on Gull Lake in Brainerd.

Biannual Trustee Conferences

Twice a year, in January and July, MHA hosts a conference to help trustees stay on the cutting edge of our constantly evolving health care environment. The Winter and Summer Trustee Conferences allow trustees, hospital executives and physician leaders to hone their governance skills and to network and exchange ideas.

The 2020 MHA and LeadingAge Minnesota Summer Trustee Conference will be held July 10-12, 2020 at Arrowwood Resort and Conference Center in Alexandria.

MHA-Healthcare Financial Management Association Conference

Every fall, MHA partners with the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) to provide hospital chief executive officers, chief financial officers, chief operating officers, directors of nursing, risk officers and business management staff with the tools they need to ensure the financial well-being of their organizations.

The 2020 MHA-Healthcare Financial Management Association Conference will be held Oct. 20, 2020, at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth.

Health Care Leadership Institute

Each March, MHA brings together approximately 130 health care executives from Minnesota to share common concerns, develop partnerships and network.

The 2020 Health Care Leadership Institute will be held March 3-5, 2020, at the Crowne Plaza Minneapolis West in Plymouth.
