WHAT: In conjunction with National Hospital Week, Governor Walz signed a proclamation declaring May 7-13, 2023 as Minnesota Hospital & Health System Week. 

WHEN: The proclamation was signed by the Governor on May 5, 2023 

WHERE: Across the state of Minnesota. 

WHY: Minnesota’s hospitals and health systems provide quality care for Minnesotans 24/7, 365 days a year, including about 13.2 million outpatient visits, 468,000 inpatient visits, and 1.8 million emergency department patients each year.
