launches flu vaccine awareness campaign
The American Hospital Association (AHA) has launched a
collaborative effort with national health care organizations and the Centers
for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to encourage everyone to get a flu
vaccination. This year’s flu season takes on fresh importance in light of the
Ebola health crisis and the need to keep preventable cases of the flu out of
the emergency department.
Visit the United Against the Flu campaign web page for
resources, infographics and promotional messaging your hospital can use to
spread the word on the importance of vaccination. The efforts of the campaign
culminate during CDC’s National Influenza Vaccination Week, Dec. 7-13. return to top
